Prep:

• Wash, decontaminate, and prep vehicle for polishing (Compound surface if heavily oxidized etc.)

Directions:          

• Shake well
• For more cut, use Lake Country Microfiber Cutting Pad and prime well
• For finicky and soft paints use microfiber pad  
• For maximum gloss use sparingly with Lake Country CCS Black Finishing Pad
• Spread evenly across section on low speed
• Polish on medium speed
• Clean pad often
• Clean pads and towels immediately after use

• For optimal results, it is recommended to use Eraser between Essence and CQUARTZ. While it is theoretically possible to skip using Eraser if Essence was properly applied with a machine, it may be difficult to measure if the lubricants in Essence have been polished down enough. To ensure 100% safety, it is advised to use Eraser. If possible, wait at least an hour after using Essence before applying Eraser.
• CARPRO Essence provides long-lasting results for up to 1 year on its own. However, for optimal hydrophobic and dirt resistance, we highly recommend applying Reload or CQUARTZ on top. This will significantly increase the contact angle to 115+ deg instead of the not-so-desirable 90 deg contact angle when using Essence alone.
• When applied between the paint and CQUARTZ, CARPRO | Essence bonds to both, allowing for a seamless merge. The heat activated SiO2/resin, combined with machine polishing, ensures optimal performance. For best results, use Eraser to prep the vehicle before coating, especially when applying by hand or in colder temperatures.
• This product contains SiO2 quartz protection, but we recommend topping it with Reload or CQUARTZ. While the protection is present, the contact angle of water beads and the dirt repellency are not as effective as Reload or CQUARTZ.
• CARPRO Essence is designed to be user-friendly, usually offering a seamless application process. However, with each paint type or variable, there may be a slight learning curve. If you encounter any difficulty in adhesion, consider adjusting your pad and/or machine, arm speed, or pressure.
• For more delicate paint surfaces, it's recommended to use a microfiber pad and follow this method for optimal results. Start at speed 1 and gradually increase to 3-4 on the machine. Using minimal pressure, make a single slow pass across the section, then consider using faster arm movements and half bites to prevent product from sticking on some paints.
• To remove any spots where Essence may have stuck, quickly apply a dot of Essence and wipe off the residue. You may also use a suede cloth for better results.
• When is the best time to wipe off excess residue? On certain types of paints, it can be left for up to an hour and still be easily removed. However, for soft or porous paints, we suggest wiping immediately after completing each section. 
• After using your pads, it is important to clean them thoroughly with APC/water to prevent them from becoming "crispy" with SiO2. This is due to the repeated saturation of Essence on the pad, which prevents it from hardening during use.
